Mrs. Wilson's 7th-8th Grade Special Education Home Page
Welcome to Mrs. Wilson's page! I'm so glad you're here !! Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I have been married to my husband, Ron, for 32 years. We have two adult sons, Jack and Aaron, two wonderful daughters-in-law, Brooklyn and Shelby, and six of the world's absolute best grandchildren, Ryder (7), Liam (6), Emmett (5), Aislyn (4), Ruby (forever 20 weeks), and Judah (1). They are my favorite! We have five fur babies, two French bull dogs, a spoiled chihuahua, and two Siamese cats. Life is full of many, many memory making moments, and I couldn't be more grateful!
Although I am originally from California, I met my husband when he was stationed at Fort Ord in Seaside and now consider myself a Hoosier. Ron's from Kokomo, and we decided we wanted to raise our sons in Indiana, so we moved here in 1995. We love it! The one thing I miss is the ocean, but we love to travel and we do it a LOT, so we get to visit loads of funs places and see amazing things. So far, we have been to almost all of the states except Maine and Alaska (coming soon), Jamaica, the Bahamas, Honduras, Belize, Cancun, Cozumel, Mexico, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and France. Next year, we are headed to Bon Aire, Aruba, and the Bahamas again. Traveling, in my opinion, is one of the only things you can spend money on that actually makes you richer!
I have been in education since 2007. I have worked in both special education, and I have also taught junior high and high school English. I enjoy both, but the five years I spent in English, although fun, were not as fulfilling as special education is for me. I LOVE working in special education. The kids are super fantastic and each one of them holds a very special place in my heart. The best part of my job is watching my students succeed, whether their successes are big or small, they matter! Thank you for sharing your precious children with me. They are valued, appreciated, and loved for exactly who they are!
If you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns, please reach out to me at [email protected] or give me a call at 765-472-3301 ext. 2224. We are a team, and I love working alongside you, your child, and other educators to ensure maximum learning and optimal success.
Have a wonderful day!!
