Welcome to Peru Junior Senior High School - Home of the Tigers!
 
At Peru Junior Senior High School, we are proud to be Tigers. Our identity is grounded in a strong tradition of academic opportunities, student engagement, and a commitment to preparing every student for future success.  Each day, we strive to Expect Excellence, Champion for Students, Build Hope and Resilience, and Promote Tiger Pride in all that we do.
 
We believe that when expectations are high, achievement follows. Our dual credit opportunities and emerging early college program empower students to get a head start on college and career pathways while they are still in high school. Through strong partnerships and intentional instruction, our students are not only earning college credits, they are building confidence, independence, and vision for their futures.
 
Excellence at Peru extends beyond our classrooms. Whether through the inspiring performances of our bands and choirs, the creativity expressed in our art programs, the energy of our drama productions, the focus of our academic teams, or the determination of our student-athletes, we celebrate the talents and passions of our students every day. 

Being a Tiger means more than wearing black and gold. It means believing in our school, investing in one another, and working together to ensure every student has the tools and support to thrive. We are a community that lifts each other up, fosters meaningful connections, and celebrates the unique strengths that each student brings to our school.

Early College

Peru Named Partner for Early College

We are thrilled to announce that Peru Junior Senior High School has been selected by the Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning (CELL) at the University of Indianapolis as a partner school in the Rural Early College Network (RECN) 2.0 as part of a $10 million federal Education Innovation and Research (EIR) grant. RECN 2.0 will support 11,000 rural high school students across 20 high schools through Early College programming, improving access to advanced coursework and reducing barriers to college.
