Mr. Wyant
Meet Mr. Wyant!
Along the way, you may have also seen him coaching Softball or Junior High Basketball, or even heard his voice on the radio calling Peru Football and Baseball games on ActionSportsNetwork.live
As a Business and Economics teacher, Mr. Wyant brings a unique edge to the classroom. Before teaching, he worked as a Tax Accountant, Auditor, and Business Owner, giving him firsthand insight into how the world of business really works. Thanks to this experience, students can earn Dual Credit with Ivy Tech in every Business and the Principles of Economics course, while those taking U.S. Government can earn IU Dual Credit through Introduction to American Politics.
Mr. Wyant is also an active supporter of Peru’s Early College program and a strong advocate for the opportunities Dual Credit creates for students ready to take the next step in their education.
When he’s not teaching, you’ll likely find Mr. Wyant with his wife Katie and sons Gideon and Asa, or working on the family farm. There, he’s dedicated to learning and applying agriculture conservation practices that push the boundaries of traditional farming. His commitment to sustainability earned his family recognition as Miami County’s River Friendly Farm at the 2025 Indiana State Fair.
