I have been an educator since 1996. I have taught in 4 corporations, 2 middle schools, and 4 different high schools. I have taught Drivers Education, 7th grade math, 8th grade math, 8th grade algebra, high school algebra, geometry, honors geometry, algebra 2, honors algebra 2, and pre-calculus. I am currently teaching algebra 2, and pre-calculus. I am the head football coach to the high school football team. I am married to a kindergarten teacher in Peru schools and have two children, one who is a senior at USI and another who has recently graduated from Rose-Hulman and is working in South Bend. I received my bachelor's degree from Indiana state university in secondary math education, my masters in school leadership from Indiana University at Ft. Wayne, and I just finished my HLC math certification allowing me to be a dual credit teacher for the state of Indiana. In my free time I enjoy woodworking, fishing, gardening, and I am an active beekeeper that produces my own honey. I am also a two-time cancer survivor.
